Two founders incorporating as public benefit companies name the book as the reason — 'inspired by Eric Ries's vision of the "incorruptible company"'
Springer founded SHiFT and is writing about Peter Ward, who stepped down as COO of Oura and is building a venture around what he calls Aliveness. The adoption sits in one line of an otherwise unrelated post: both of them are incorporating as public benefit companies, and both name the book's argument as the reason. Ward is the same practitioner who reported in October that more builders were choosing public benefit missions — this is him acting on it, and a second founder alongside him.
“we're both building Public Benefit Companies inspired by Eric Ries's vision of the “incorruptible company” - businesses designed to stay true to their purpose as they grow.” — Isabell Springer on LinkedIn
