Rebecca Henderson (University Professor, Harvard · Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire) — 'my favorite business book of the last five years... Eric Ries's Incorruptible. It is fabulous'

Rebecca Henderson — one of 25 University Professors at Harvard, and author of Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire (shortlisted for the FT/McKinsey Business Book of the Year) — endorses Incorruptible on the Economics for Inclusive Prosperity podcast. Asked how investors could credibly commit to the long term, she holds the book up on camera, says she'd otherwise be quoting it wholesale, and goes on to summarize its central argument: without the right governance, a purpose-driven firm can't make long-term credible commitments.

“I could go on forever on this, but I would be quoting almost entirely from my favorite business book of the last five years, which I happen to have right here because it's so good. It's just coincidence. Eric Ries's Incorruptible. It is fabulous. It will be on my reading list and I will put it in the show notes.” — Rebecca Henderson on the Economics for Inclusive Prosperity podcast (28:09)
