Laura Csuka (DPhil Student CS · Co-founder, Stealth Startup) — 'the best book on founding that I have ever encountered'

Csuka is a computer science DPhil student at Oxford and is co-founding a startup with Thomas Duffield. She came to the Openseed VC evening having already read most of the book, had her copy signed, and her recap singles out the Epilogue.

“I've been looking for a book like this for a long time, and I'm so grateful that Eric Ries wrote it just in time for it to arrive at the beginning of the company founding path Thomas Duffield and I are on. When I came to the event, I had already read about 90% of "Incorruptible: Why Good Companies Go Bad and How Great Companies Stay Great", so the version that I was lucky to get signed by Eric was already heavily bent and highlighted. I'm glad though that I was reminded not to stop short of the last part. Most of the time, last chapters in non-fiction books can be safely skipped because they tend to read like an afterthought. The Epilogue in Incorruptible couldn't be more different: it summarised the core message beautifully. Thank you Openseed VC for hosting the evening and thank you Eric Ries for writing the best book on founding that I have ever encountered.” — Laura Csuka on LinkedIn
