Richard Kilgarriff (Founder, Bookomi · Host, Books for Breakfast at Soho House) — Incorruptible on his three-book ASAP list for the AI moment

Richard Kilgarriff — founder of Bookomi and host of the Books for Breakfast series at Soho House — pairs Incorruptible with Bostrom's Superintelligence and Mallaby's The Infinity Machine as the three books to 'buy and read the shit out of ASAP.' Frames Eric's human-flourishing lens as the antidote to shareholder primacy operating at AI speed.

“AI platform leaders operate at high speed in a business ecosystem designed to reward (and rightly defend) shareholder primacy, even at the expense of what Eric Ries describes as human flourishing. The biggest threat to human prosperity then, is likely to be (as ever) humans acting inhumanely in pursuit of financial growth and political power, not by man-made machines augmenting our brilliant minds. I recommend buying and reading the shit out of these three books ASAP: Bostrum's Superintelligence, Mallaby's The Infinity Machine and Ries's Incorruptible.” — Richard Kilgarriff on LinkedIn
