One example of many was when I was brought in as a fractional Product leader to fill a gap until they hired a full time person. At first, I was inspired about how they talked about the opportunities and the inspiring mission. Then I was asked to build financial projections for a solution we hadn't even defined. 🙃 There was no evidence behind the numbers.
