Asya Paloni (Welltory CPO) — 'a man who reads anarchist science fiction, becomes upset about incentive design, and builds financial infrastructure about it'

Welltory Chief Product Officer Asya Paloni publishes a 19-like, wide-ranging LinkedIn review calling Incorruptible a business book "we actually deserve." She singles out Eric's Ursula Le Guin quotes, the financial-gravity metaphor, and — most memorably — his response to a broken system ("Fine, I'll make a stock exchange"). Her core takeaway: values lose to systems; build different systems while you still can.

“But actually, my favorite part of the book is the Eric Ries character arc. Apparently at some point this very earnest man looked at the incentives governing the entire financial system and thought, "Fine, I'll make a stock exchange." And then he did. The Long-Term Stock Exchange is an actual institutional attempt to change what the system rewards in the first place. I find this very endearing. There is something charming about a man who reads anarchist science fiction, becomes upset about incentive design, and builds financial infrastructure about it.” — Asya Paloni on LinkedIn
