Kaley Cross Warner (sustainability practitioner) — mission-drift in the sustainability profession, named as 'corruption'

Cross Warner works in corporate sustainability. Her post reads Incorruptible against five years of watching companies lose their missions to acquisitions, new leadership and the geopolitical climate, and against the worry she keeps hearing from others in the profession about their own employers. Ries's name for what they are describing is corruption.

“Within the last 5 years, I've witnessed acquisitions, changes in leadership, and the geopolitical climate rid companies of their missions. And in the last year, I've had conversations with many sustainability professionals talking about concerns of mission drift, or as Eric says 'corruption' at their company. All of us wondering how do we prevent this from happening?” — Kaley Cross Warner on LinkedIn
